Just discovered this game. This is one of the best examples that you don't need to show everything to scare the player. The logs alone creeped me the hell out haha!

Thank you for the awesome game.

I like the writing in this, felt very paranoid.

I really like the visuals when you are at the computer screens or the CCTV but when you're out and about it is way too dark, I can't even tell if the walls have texture because most of it is just a grayish black miasma.

I understand it's a jam game made under time constraint but the small amount of crew ID files (which you also didn't need to view for any reason other than a bit of lore) and the fact that a few of the areas were never accessed gave the game a bit of an unfinished feeling.

The sound was a bit sparse overall and maybe a bit clear since you heard most of it from outside the room you were in, but one sound effect really stood out as weird; the wooden door opening sound doesn't feel like something you'd hear on a fully metal spaceship =P

Some bugs and stuff: When you zoom in with a camera, if you switch before it has returned to its normal state it will still be zoomed in on the next location at the point where you had it zoomed before. I get that you're switching the views, not the camera itself here but it would feel more believable if the camera zoom position reset between views.

I liked green CRT visuals but some of the text entries had the text small enough that the filter made it hard to read. I'd suggest making the size of the text uniform and add a scroll-bar to the longer entries. If not, perhaps a clearer font so that you have an easier time telling letters apart when distorted, like as an example the "I" has those dashes on the top and bottom and that sometimes makes it look like a T when small and distorted.

Speaking about the text entries, some of them seemed to be out of order, nothing too extreme but I remember one guy had five text entries, starting from the top the first two you read are obviously the first he'd written, but two of the latter ones felt like they'd switched places.

On the same subject, this is not a bug but something that could be improved nonetheless. It would be nice if the unread and read entries had different colors so you'd know if you missed one.

And lastly, while "Do What They Say" had some turbo mouse sensitivity if you messed with the settings, this game needs higher mouse sensitivity but lacks a slider to adjust it. It's not a big deal since you do so little walking around but it would still be a nice QoL fix.

Thanks for trying out this one too!

This is some tip top feedback that I will definitely be taking into consideration in future work. I am hoping to get a fairly sizeable patch in before the end of April, so I will make sure I look into all the issues you raised! (I plan on making the system settings a bit more sensible in a future patch, mouse sensitivity being one of the top ones on the list!)

As for the crew files, fortunately the system I have put in place allows me to add new entries pretty easily... just need the time to work on them! What I was hoping is that the crew files would contain clues on where you would need to look for PDAs to scan. I had plans on there being a whole heap of ship systems that would provide puzzle elements and more variety into the game rather than the PDA hunt it is currently... but I ran out of time in the Jam I made this for! I still have plans to bring that back!

Thanks again, you've given me a great deal to think about!

It was good! I'll look forward to your future projects!

Thanks for checking out, glad you enjoyed it!

Why do I always wind up in some dark place with a spoopy monster after me! I hate these jobs, why can't I find a nice little office job where I can push buttons all day? Another nice little game by the way. I hope you continue to work on this, it was a little short. Also, your jumpscare was successfully defused by my safety hand.

Hey thanks for checking this one out too!

It is a little short, there was supposed to be more to it that jumping from PDA to PDA, but I had to cut a lot of it due to time. I plan on re-adding a big chunk of the cut content over time!
